New BIM and documentation resources for James Hardie’s Hardie™ Gravis™ Panel are now available via BIMcontent.com and the James Hardie Australia website.
Hardie™ Gravis™ Panel is a lightweight AAC solution designed for wall and floor applications across Australian residential projects, expanding the James Hardie product offering with a versatile system suitable for a broad range of construction applications.

To support architects, designers, builders and specifiers working with the new system, the James Hardie BIM library has been expanded with a comprehensive suite of BIM and documentation resources developed specifically for Hardie™ Gravis™ Panel.
Developed by BIM Content Creation specialists IGS Group (IGS BIM Solutions), the new resources have been created in accordance with industry best practices to provide designers with reliable, high-quality digital product resources that support design, visualisation, documentation and specification workflows.

- Complete system content including textured finishes, structure, panels and linings
- 103 construction details covering Zero Lot, Intertenancy, External Wall and Flooring applications
- Parametric detail families designed to streamline documentation workflows
- Material libraries and wall system content to support flexible project application
- Updated user guides to assist with content implementation
The content is available in a variety of formats to support different design and documentation workflows. Revit users can access individual Revit families, material libraries, construction details and supporting documentation, while Archicad users can access a corresponding library of Archicad content developed natively in Archicad with Library Container Files, Surface Attributes files, and Archicad project files.
Construction details are available as native Revit drafting views for easy project integration and can also be downloaded in PDF, DWG and image formats.
Whether working in Revit, Archicad, AutoCAD or traditional documentation environments, designers have access to a comprehensive suite of resources to support the evaluation, documentation and specification of the Hardie™ Gravis™ Panel.
